Conference Date:October 11th,2025

Location:Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting & Finance, No. 2800, Wenxiang Road, Shanghai, China

Conference Theme:"Global Monetary Policy Issues and Challenges"

Hosted by the Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting & Finance, this conference aims to provide an international forum for scholars and practitioners to present cutting-edge research and exchange ideas on the evolving landscape of finance and trade in the context of digital economies in emerging economies with a particular focus on China.

Motivation and Justification

Monetary policies and their associated challenges have become a focal point of policy debates amid growing global uncertainties. These uncertainties encompass environmental and climate risks (such as natural disasters), health crises (including the ongoing pandemic), geopolitical tensions, and financial instability. Recent extreme events, including the pandemic and escalating regional conflicts, have amplified these challenges, fueling debates without clear consensus on policies that work effectively across different countries or regions.

The theme of this conference is particularly relevant as it aligns with global trends towards digitization and the increasing importance of digital financial instruments, platforms, and policies. By focusing on finance and trade issues in digital economies, we aim to foster discussions that can lead to innovative solutions and insights beneficial to both academia and industry.
