“Shanghai Management Science Forum 2020”, the annual event of management science field in China, opened on December 19, 2020. This significant domestic academic forum was organized by the Shanghai Management Science Association and co-organized by nearly 30 business schools in the Yangtze River Delta, which is also an extraordinarily industry event that focuses on professional seminars and industry exchanges for the academic elites and business leaders in the national management academia.

During the forum, the Lixin sub-forum, hosted by School of Business Administration of Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, took the theme of “Reform and Innovation of New Rising Technology-driven Art Finance Management”. The forum focused on the issue of helping the traditional art finance industry to achieve reform and innovation in management, in the context of emerging information technology.

The sub-forum was attended by Professor Huang Juan, Vice Dean of School of Applied Economics of Renmin University of China and Deputy Director of the China Institute of Art Finance, Professor Fan Yong, the Founder/Dean of Asian Institute of Art&Finance, Professor Wang Xiaoguang, Dean of School of Business Administration, as well as Professor Wang Feng, Professor Xu Xiaolong, Vice Deans of School of Business Administration of Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, representatives of industry experts, alumni, faculty and student representatives, etc,. 

At the forum, Dean Wang Xiaoguang introduced the development background, cultivation objectives, and construction effectiveness of the art financial management major of School of Business Administration. Also, he detailed the education and teaching reform measures adopted in the cultivation of art financial management talents, and the situation that the graduates were well recognized in practice, which drew the particular attention of the participants.   

After the forum, this event was reported and published by media such as “People’s Daily News Client”, “Consumption Daily”, “China.com”, “Beijing Youth Daily.com” etc. have reported and published this industrial event, which fully affirmed values of the forum. It triggered a wide concern of the community about our school and the construction of the art financial management profession.
